    Pikaisen laskelmani mukaan Infinite Jestissä puhutaan pierusta tai piereskelystä keskimäärin joka 29:nnella sivulla.

    Syy, miksi aloin selvittää pierun esiintymistiheyttä kyseisessä teoksessa on, että aikoinaan heti ensimmäisen lukemisen yhteydessä tuntui että siinä puhutaan aika taajaan pieruista.
